About the Sawyer
My name is Pete Falciani, and I’m the proud owner and operator of Falco Building & Sawmill Co., based in Durham, NC. I’ve been sawing since 2019, and it has been an incredible journey making sawdust and serving the needs of homeowners, businesses, non-profits, and professional woodworkers in the Triangle area and beyond.
I started this business out of a passion for woodworking and sustainable practices. With years of experience and a focus on quality, I’ve built a reputation for delivering reliable sawmilling services that help bring my clients' visions to life. As a Durham resident, I’m proud to serve and support our local community by offering fair pricing and responsibly sourced materials, primarily harvested from the Triangle area. My work emphasizes sustainability and the responsible use of natural resources, ensuring that the wood I process becomes part of something meaningful and lasting.

The lumber I’ve milled is featured in several businesses throughout the Triangle and supports The Bull City Woodshop, a remarkable non-profit that makes woodworking accessible and enjoyable for people of all ages. Low grade lumber unfit for retail is donated to community building projects, and waste byproduct of milling is turned into firewood.
